What are the most rewarding parts of your job?
Supporting families to take the step into treatment and supporting their child. I enjoy seeing caregivers sigh of relief when I share my recommendations and areas of focus.
What advice would you give to someone looking to pursue a role like yours? Are there specific character traits or skills/certifications they should possess?
Assessment coordinators should be outgoing, knowledgeable, friendly staff who are great at explaining the process in parent-friendly terms. This role includes a lot of support for the family to understand what we do & who we are- so you must be confident in the company and our work!
