What is your title? Describe what you do.
I am a Lead Clinical Supervisor here at Behavioral Framework. I manage a caseload of clients receiving ABA services, oversee treatment plan implementation by my team of RBTs, collaborate with caregivers to promote treatment outcomes and develop plans that are individualized to my clients.
What drew you to Behavioral Framework?
I knew I had a desire to grow both professionally and clinically in my role as a BCBA. Behavioral Framework truly has a supportive team approach that promotes professional growth, opportunities to expand clinical knowledge in ABA, and offers tools to deliver high-quality ABA services. What are the most rewarding parts of your job?
Getting the chance to witness my clients achieving their goals and overcoming their challenges – a product of true collaboration between caregivers, RBTs and the Clinical Supervisor.
What advice would you give to someone looking to pursue a role like yours? Are there specific character traits or skills/certifications they should possess?
Being a BCBA in any position or setting is challenging, but one of the utmost rewarding roles you can have. The best qualities you can have as a BCBA is compassion, empathy, patience and a true passion for the work that you do for your clients/families.
What do you like best about Behavioral Framework?
My absolute favorite thing about Behavioral Framework is the extremely supportive atmosphere across multiple teams. The clinical management team is especially supportive, promotes professional growth and encourages creativity within the BCBA role. Everyone on our office team is always incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful in making sure that our roles are supported administratively.
